We all have our favorite restaurants and we love each one for different reasons—great service, great food, great atmosphere. Here are a few of our staff’s favorites!
Jerry’s Selections
“We have 4-5 restaurants that we frequent in Reedley,” shares Jerry Linscheid, General Manager with Mennonite Aid Plan/Mennonite Insurance Services. “Friday evenings tend to be our night to eat out. We seldom go to the same restaurant more than once a month. Even with that low frequency, some of the waitresses know what ‘the usual’ is. It is a real gift to customers when the restaurant staff are there long enough and can remember customers who come in only once a month.”
Here are those restaurants:
- At Kabob City I have the spicy chicken with a side order of humus
- At Sansei, I have the sesame chicken
- At El Monte, I have the Lalita
- At El Rincon, I have the chicken fajita
- At The Bear Club, I have pistachio-crusted salmon
Marsha’s Selections
Marsha says that she likes Ruth’s Chris in Fresno. One of the big draws for her is that the plate comes out very hot and keeps the meal hot for a long time at the table. “It is expensive, so it’s a restaurant for special occasions.”
Stephanie’s Selections
“My favorite restaurant is Yosemite Ranch in Fresno,” states Stephanie. “The food is super tasty! Their steak medallions and artichokes are my Absolute Fav! Oh goodness, I can’t forget how amazing their cheesecake is for dessert! And they have really good service.”
Dalia’s Selections
Dalia likes Cool Hand Lukes for the rolls and beans. She likes it so much that she goes about once a month. She also likes Westwoods for their desserts. Also once a month. Both are in Fresno.
Claudia’s Selections
Claudia’s family favorite is Olive Garden and they go at least once a month. “Because of their great pasta, bread sticks, and salad.”
Michelle’s Selections
If you are looking for a place that has food and fun, Michelle likes Triangle Burger in Fresno. “Staff is awesome and you can play pinball while waiting for your order.” She also likes the Grant Grove Restaurant. “It is new, all new menu, the food is yummy, the drive to get there is very pretty, and you can do a scenic walk afterwards to burn off the calories.”
