Notice of Annual Meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of Members (Policyholders) of Mennonite Aid Plan of the Pacific Coast will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Piccadilly Inn Airport, 5115 E McKinley, Fresno, CA. The date of record to determine membership in the Corporation has been fixed by the Board of Directors as December 31, 2024.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
- Elect members to the Board of Directors
- Conduct any other business properly brought to the meeting
As a member in good standing as of the date of record, you are invited to attend. If you cannot attend, we ask that you return your proxy so the Board of Directors may act on your behalf. Please indicate which option you prefer. A specific number of votes, either by attendance or proxy, is required for a quorum. Please complete and return your proxy letter by no later than MARCH 7, 2025, via:
- Regular mail in the envelope provided, or
- Scanned proxy or clear photo of your proxy emailed to [email protected], or
- On our web portal at https://mennoniteinsurance.com/proxy-letter-form/
The following people, along with the region they represent, have been nominated to serve on the Board of Directors beginning in 2025:
- Central California – Jim Brandt, 3-year term.
- Central California – Larry Miller, 3-year term.
- Oregon – Ed Peachey, 3-year term.
- Oregon – Ellis Stutzman, 3-year term.
If a member wishes to present an item of business at this meeting, the Board of Directors must be notified in writing at least ten (10) days before the meeting date as to the nature of such business. Notice may be sent to the corporate office: PO Box 878, Reedley CA 93654. Each member has a right to receive a financial report for the corporation upon written request, as provided in California Corporations Code 8321(a).
